Culture Collective: Turku
Co-founder of an English-language online publication about the people, events, and culture in Turku, Finland. Writing articles, managing digital content, webmastering, coordinating collaboration with businesses and events. Google Analytics management. Total unique views on site: 32,000 at 4/2019. Currently on hold due to hosting costs.
Automated Insect Identification
Honours dissertation project. Identifying insects from images in the wild using computer vision and machine learning. Technologies used: Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Google Colab. Supervisor: Dr. Mohamed E. Elawady.
